Honorary Member Receives AOAC Top Scientific Honour
Dr. Roger Wood OBE
Dr Roger Wood OBE, an Honorary Member of the Association, is well known to many in our small profession. He has also made an impact across the Atlantic where the AOAC (letters which originally stood for Association of Official Agricultural Chemists, and is now shorthand for AOAC International where AOAC stands for Association of Analytical Communities) has awarded him the Harvey W. Wiley Award, its top scientific honour. The attached article makes for an interesting read though, unfortunately the words “Public Analyst” do not appear in the potted biography.
