  • Emerging Analytical Professionals (EAP) Conference – Registration Open

The Analytical Science Network (ASN) is an interest group for emerging scientists with an interest in any analytical discipline. Our members come from both industry and academia and represent a diverse cross section of analytical disciplines.

The ASN was originally established specifically for young researchers (under 40 years), in an effort to foster the careers of present and prospective analytical scientists and to promote analytical science. The ASN is recognised as the younger member’s branch of the Analytical Division of the Royal Society of Chemistry but also has members from the Forensic Science Society, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, the Biochemical Society, the Mass Spectrometry Society and many more. We are funded by the Analytical Chemistry Trust Fund (ACTF).

ASN organises training and networking opportunities for early career professionals, undergraduate and postgraduate students and for any other interested parties.

EAP is an all inclusive weekend conference aimed at early career scientists and researchers both in industry and academia. There will be an emphasis on networking opportunities and continuing professional development activities as well as back-to-basics technique workshops and general interest analytical presentations and talks. The all inclusive fee for delegates is £270 however bookings made before the end of February 2013 will attract an early bird rate of £240.

A variety of bursaries are available. Abstracts should be submitted for consideration via the booking website by February 22nd 2013 for oral presentations and March 31st 2013 for posters.
