President attends Science in the Assembly May 2007

This was the third time the event had been held in Wales and was a successful and interesting time.

The APA had an exhibition stand in the Senedd which houses the Assembly on the banks of Cardiff Bay. The venue was very impressive and is alongside the Wales Millenium Centre which was where the presentations took place. It was unfortunate that the media that attended were very focussed upon political talks between the parties who were trying to form a coalition on the day. However, the event was well attended and many visitors (and exhibitors) were very interested in the work of Public Analysts.

Thanks to my colleagues from the Welsh laboratories for the support and particularly the help with the Welsh language.
