New Public Analyst takes up post with Worcestershire Scientific Services

Liz MoranSmallElizabeth Moran has been appointed to the post of Public Analyst & Scientific Advisor at Worcestershire Scientific Services, from August 2008, taking over from Bob and Carol Stevens, who retired at the end of July. She has been at Worcestershire since July 2007 and said “We have a great team here and I will be working with them to ensure that the services offered by Worcestershire in the fields of food, consumer product testing and occupational hygiene are second to none”. The service is due to relocate to a new laboratory in Worcester at the beginning of 2009.

Elizabeth has worked in Public Analyst laboratories for sixteen years. She began her career at Liverpool City Council’s Public Analyst Laboratory in 1991. She joined Eurofins in 2003 and gained the MChemA in 2006, before moving to Worcestershire in 2007.
