GSS Secures Accreditation for Training Delivery

Glasgow Scientific Services was formally recognised this week by the Royal Society of Chemistry for the training delivery provision to specialist fire and rescue officers and scientific advisers. The service has developed a series of training modules to ensure scientists and senior fire officers from around Scotland are trained to respond to hazardous material incidents, including white powder incidents, suspicious packages and potential terrorist attack.

The course is the first of its type to be recognised by the Royal Society of Chemistry and fire services from England have now approached the service for training delivery.
